Department Name: 8G000:College of Education Job Summary: The College of Education Business Center is currently seeking a College Business Officer to support academic departments. Primary duties include financial management, business operations, reconciliation, preparation and review of procurement and payments, travel reimbursements, and concur reports. The individual will be responsible for insuring expenditures are complaint with federal, state and university guidelines. This position will provide budget forecasting and expenditure analysis to the department chair(s). It will oversee post-award grant management for all sponsored projects for the department(s) assigned. The College Business Officer will report to the Director of Operations for the college business center. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a strategic thinker, organized, have business and finance experience within a university setting, will have grant post-award experience, and a good team member.
