Position SummaryThe Financial Analyst will work closely with the Executive Director to plan and manage the organization’s finances. The Executive Director and the Financial Analyst work in collaboration with the UCEA Executive Committee and governance. This work will include, but not be limited to, performing reconciliations, preparation and entry of journal entries, review and interpret IRS and UCEA regulations, creation of business intelligence reports, and coordination of annual audits. Finally, the analyst will advise the Executive Director and Headquarters staff on grant management and in-kind donations, wire transfers, and the maintenance of accounting systems for the organization. Unit Specific Education/Experience/SkillsKnowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year degree program in accounting or finance with relevant course work in business administration; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in accounting, auditing or financial analysis; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
