Paulson Center shared spaces) and catered events in Washington Square Park and Brooklyn campuses. Create long and short term strategies to link all business development needs as it relates to the Campus Services portfolio. Develop and implement policies and standard operating procedures. Align with the Senior Director of Campus Services to build and improve on current business policies, processes, goals, and staff development. Hold food service vendor accountable highlighting governance as it relates to the contract, service level agreements and key performance indicators for events. Oversee food service provider on all campus wide catered events, conferences and meetings. Ensure adequate resources are available to managers to enable them to work efficiently and effectively. Research, measure and track marketing and industry trends within the current and external landscape to identify new internal and external relationships across campus. Manage and facilitate the use of Kimmel Center: develop and implement policies and procedures; schedule and facilitate events, services, conferences and meetings. Supervise staff and manage the daily operations of the office. Responsibilities Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, operations, administration, management, hospitality, project or equivalent Preferred Education: Master's Degree Required Experience: 7+ years events management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience with facilities management, supervising staff and budget management. Preferred Experience: Experience managing a conference center or other event facility within a large University setting. Knowledge of building safety regulations Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Familiarity with audio-visual equipment, PC hardware and software. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of building safety regulations Qualifications In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $117,000.00 to USD $157,000.00.
