 Postdoctoral Research Associate Available Title(s): 306-YN_FACULTY - Postdoctoral Research Associate Business Title: Postdoctoral Research Associate Employee Type: Faculty (+) (Fixed Term) Time Type: Full time Position Term: Position Details: This recruitment will be used to fill multiple vacancies Summary of Duties: Study the genes involved in plant resistance and fungal pathogenicity that are functional at specific growth and infection stages of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. This position offers an exciting opportunity involving molecular genetics and biochemical analysis of pathogen infection process and defense responses in Arabidopsis and Canola plants in the Chen lab and the Tanaka lab. Experience in molecular plant pathology is an advantage but not required. It is more important that you are highly-motivated and ready to develop the research project. Required Qualifications:

Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.
