Our Team: The Budget and Finance Team within the SC Johnson College of Business supports strategic and transactional financial operations across our three schools, our central college unit, the Statler Hotel, and across our two campuses in Ithaca and NYC. This team consists of individuals who take a progressive approach to financial planning and reporting, utilizing data-driven techniques and tools to support our College's mission and enhance our organizational effectiveness. This Position: Under the direction of the SC Johnson College of Business Executive Director of Finance, and as a highly engaged member of the greater finance team, this position works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and leadership within the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business and with university partners to provide financial oversight, budgeting, strategic planning, reporting and analysis for assigned areas within the SC Johnson College of Business. This role also directly supervises, supports, guides and mentors a team of three finance professionals. The Associate Director will serve as the lead financial partner for the Johnson School, Dyson (non-sponsored) operations and various central departments (Academic Affairs, Dean's office, Human Resources) for internal and external financial reporting, budget review and analysis, forecasting and financial transactions. This role will provide guidance and recommendations on the development and implementation of financial management strategies for short and long-term fiscal, operational and personnel salary planning.
