Position Information:
The Patient Account Representative is responsible for the check in and out process of patients presenting for medical appointments. This position initiates appropriate financial referrals to ensure payment of clinical physician services. This position also assists with the coordination of managed care authorizations for all WakeMed Physicians Practice services. The position is responsible for verifying entry of identified data into the EHR. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values and management of WakeMed Physician Practices.

Experience Requirements:
1 Year Healthcare Required

Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And Associate's Degree Business Administration Or Associate's Degree Related Field Preferred

Hours of Work:
Monday- Friday 8:00 m-4:30 m

Weekend Requirements:
