Position Description The Director leads the team responsible for the operation and evolution of the technology environment supporting the clinical administrative, teaching, and research activities for the school. They will develop and foster long-term relationships with major partners across the University, including Harvard University IT (HUIT) and the Harvard Medical School (HMS) IT Office. They will be the primary resource to understand HSDM engagement with Harvard Medical School and Harvard University IT service providers and will, as needed, serve as the voice of HSDM to those partners. They will be comfortable building out a new function, iterating and adapting as needed. They will be comfortable working both independently and with a team and will demonstrate a high degree of sophistication and professionalism to ensure strong relationships are cultivated and services are delivered in support of HSDM values, particularly with respect to open communication, user-focused engagement, and collaboration. They are responsible for understanding the business priorities of the school, mapping those priorities to services offered by internal and external partners, and managing the relationships to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to the students, faculty, and staff.

Compensation Range: Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally new hires can expect compensation between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
