Come be our third vet!! As a team we prioritize communication and emphasize taking care of one another so that we can do our best for our clients and patients. We are growing and with our solid foundation we are looking to branch out from the routine practice. We do pottery together instead of having staff meetings. We have over 100 roosters onsite plus some really cute goats, pigs and donkeys – they keeps us on our toes. Some days we clean coops and clean the barn after treating our rescue animals. Some days we do 2 prepurchases at a horse show. We thrive on developing adaptable positions and lifestyles. We believe in freedom, friends and forage for all living beings. In short, we are not here for a legacy, or to sell the practice (although ownership potential is certainly there), we are here to create an environment for human and animals alike using cutting edge technology and the most comprehensive human understanding available. We are encouraging a culture of self-respect and responsibility that will be self-sustaining in order to support learning, training and teaching. Are you interested in being supported, taught and challenged? This is a salaried position for a young veterinarian who wants to join a unique practice that prioritizes a culture of openness and teamwork. This position provides an opportunity to be a part of AIM’s ambulatory specialty sports medicine practice as well as our Rooster Run Foundation in beautiful Penngrove, CA. You really can’t beat the weather here. Your job would include working with the animals onsite daily to continue to improve their health and enrichments, helping us develop a client educational program including behavior classes and of course being on the road in the truck 3-4 days a week. We provide excellent mentorship to develop your sports medicine skills as well as encouraging personal adaptability.
