UC Davis Medical Center Sacramento, CA Assistant Nurse Manager 2 Salary or Pay Range: $8,625.00 - $18,041.66 Monthly The Ambulatory Care Patient Supervisor 2 is a registered nurse responsible for the operation of the nursing unit over a specific time period. The Ambulatory Care Patient Supervisor must have a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and skills on which to base judgments and make decisions, organizing abilities to direct nursing tasks and operations, and interpersonal skills to facilitate communication and the work of others. The Ambulatory Care Patient Supervisor accepts the responsibility for and is accountable for, his/her own nursing practice. The Ambulatory Care Patient Supervisor also seeks out and pursues opportunities for learning and assumes responsibility for their own self-development. Registered nurses must be knowledgeable and skillful in performing the Ambulatory Care Patient Supervisor role. Three fundamental responsibilities of the Ambulatory Care Patient Supervisor include planning, coordinating, and evaluating unit nursing activities. Minimum Qualifications • Previous leadership experience. • Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR Certification or UCDH-issued CPR certificate. • Possession of current California RN License without restrictions. • ACLS Certification is required. • Moderate Sedation experience required. • Moderate Sedation certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire. • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. • BSN required or in progress. • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. • Applicants are encouraged to upload license and certification if required of the position. Preferred Qualifications • BSN. • GI experience/procedural setting experience. • Knowledge of High-Level Disinfection Process.
