Position Accountabilities and Essential Functions: The successful candidate must demonstrate experience, skills, and commitment to fostering an environment of belonging, diversity, equity and inclusion in students, faculty and staff. POSITION SUMMARY: The two primary functions of this position are to support the dental clinic, and to provide support to other Health and Wellness division programs. This position will facilitate and meet the needs of 60+ dental hygiene and assisting students, and the patients while managing all aspects of a dental office. The various aspects of the dental office are: explaining policy and procedures, conflict resolution, scheduling and rescheduling patients, answering phone calls, ensuring policies and protocol are followed, developing forms to increase communication and efficiency of the office, communication with patients, students and faculty, tracking inventory, ordering supplies, trouble-shoot equipment and software issues, contact appropriate department or vendor if repair is needed, and coordinate repairs as needed. The position will provide support to the associate dean and faculty in multiple areas, based on distribution of occupied faculty offices. This includes providing full and part-time faculty with clerical/secretarial support, customer service, office coordination, and technology assistance. Customer service is also provided to students and community members who call, email, or walk in.
