Job Description: The Assistant Director has a direct impact to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for the users of Conference and Events Services venues and is charged with delivering the highest level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This role supports conferences (over 85 last year), with emphasis on evening and weekend oversight, communication with internal and external stakeholders, and student employees. They will be able to provide general information to visitors and callers, effectively communicate with external stakeholders needs, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and events. This individual must possess a high level of cultural competency to make sure all people's identities and perspectives are welcomed in the Conference and Event Services office.
