Full-Time/Part Time: Full-Time Overview: Northern Illinois University (NIU) is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Director Outdoor Adventures for the Recreation Center. This is a full-time,12-month position with benefits. Position Summary: This position will provide leadership, direction, and oversight of a comprehensive Outdoor Adventure program including trips, special events, rentals, and custom trips and teambuilding. The position will have oversight of the Adventure Center and all equipment associated with the program. The Assistant Director of Outdoor Adventures will oversee recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of student staff for this program.
