CMU's University Libraries is searching for an Open Science Primer Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing support by following research plans in order to collect, record and manipulate research data, and maintain accurate and detailed research records. The Open Science Primer Assistant position is funded through the Open Science Primer IMLS grant. This is a temporary, part time position aimed at library and information science students interested in academic initiatives such as open science. The Open Science Primer Assistant will be heavily integrated into various project elements and will work collaboratively with a dynamic project team to support project tasks related to project management and qualitative research. The successful candidate will acquire skills and knowledge in academic librarianship, open science, postsecondary teaching and learning, and project management.
