The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary Reporting to the Editorial Director, the Editor is responsible for providing general editorial, acquisition, development, transmittal, and publication of books support to the Editorial Director and various editors. The incumbent will be expected to assist in a variety of processes at CU Press including soliciting peer reviews and preparing book descriptions, data sheets, and manuscripts for release for editing and production. They will also participate in the creation of accurate profit-and-loss statements and serve as a contact for reviewers while handling general queries for all books acquired by the editor. The Associate Editor will work with press employees from all departments to improve data practice and direct future developments of the press-wide database. Responsibilities
