Position Summary: Given current research needs and available funding, the postdoctoral associate will have strong quantitative skills, expertise in housing and/or related social determinants of health, and a strong desire to focus on equity. Hired by the Edward J. Bloustein (EJB) School of Planning and Public Policy, the postdoctoral associate will work closely with the school and conduct research with faculty and staff at the Ralph W. Voorhees Center for Civic Engagement and the Center for State Health Policy with the objective of building capacity to link housing and health across our research, service, and teaching work. The postdoctoral associate will work remotely or will be provided space at the Center for State Health Policy at the Rutgers Institute for Health. The postdoctoral associate will be hired as part of the Rutgers Housing and Health Equity Cluster established to advance health equity through research, teaching, and service by addressing housing-related drivers of health and well-being.
