Our client is a well-known foreign bank. They wish to hire a talented (Assistant) Accounting Manager to join their team.

Description

Reporting to the Deputy Team Head, you will be responsible for

• the HKMA regulatory reporting process
• ensuring the banking returns and surveys are compliant with the instructions and guidelines set by HKMA
• assisting in system implementation projects related to bank returns and other adhoc tasks
• preparing financial information as requested by auditors
• ensuring financial results and management reports are compiled correctly from the general ledgers and other system reports
• ensuring internal audit activities are in compliance with industrial and professional standards
• communicating with reporting requirements for month-end closing and statutory reporting to all departments, and subsidiaries
• other adhoc tasks

Profile

Requirement:

• A degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/Banking
• CPA/HKIB or relevant qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of experience in banking/accounting/tax compliance reporting such as handling HKMA regulatory reporting
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
