Job Title: Gift Processor/Development Associate

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Gift Processor works to enter and process financial gifts, matching gifts and other donations to St. Catherine’s School in the Raiser’s Edge database. This position is responsible for keeping accurate records and reports of all gifts while providing receipts to donors. The Gift Processor is the Development point of contact during the annual audit.

This position works closely with the St. Catherine’s School Foundation Accountant regarding donations and record keeping, thus providing the needed separation of duties and additional controls and audit trails. This includes the recording, reconciliation, analysis of restricted donor directed funds and the proper unitization analysis to determine the correct funding for the donors' intended purpose.

Supervisor: Reports to the Director of Development

Position Status: Salaried, non-exempt full-time

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and enter all pledges, gifts, pledge payments and expectancies into development database; accurately identifying donors (via consult with Development Office personnel) and payment amounts; (including value of securities given)
• Manage Alumnae and Development Office audit and work with auditors to provide all necessary information
• Update donor records as appropriate
• Process all credit cards gifts and payments made via Give Campus
• Provide gift receipts to all donors
• Run reports for all monies received; send monies to the Business Office for deposit
• Coordinate placement of special project funds with the Business Office and monitor such funds
• Coordinate all online event registrations for Alumnae and Development Office
• Confirm all matching gifts
• Confirm and enter all direct deposit gifts into appropriate account.
• Review and analyze monthly credit card statement; allocate fees among appropriate cost centers and prepare spreadsheet and direct Business Office to make account transfers
• Send pledge and consider confirmations to all donors and prospective donors
• Send memorial and honor cards to family members and honorees
• Manage all reunion registrations
• Maintain chart of accounts
• Review monthly billing reports and send reminders
• Participate as needed in Development events
