Professional Time Type: Part time Position Term: 10 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: The School of Molecular Biosciences (SMB) is an undergraduate, graduate and teaching/research unit in the College of Veterinary Medicine, with more than 3,000 students enrolled in departmental classes on an annual basis. Duties include, but are not limited to academic counseling, advising, responding to academic inquiries, developing academic plans, providing guidance for school, college, and university requirements and processes. Other related matters include counseling non-students about admission to university programs, advice for prospective transfer students; arranging campus visits, and recruitment activities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' experience working with students in an educational setting or related experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an academic environment, especially at Washington State University.
