JOB SUMMARY The Associate Director of Graduate Admissions is a member of the Admissions and Recruiting Team, reporting to the Assistant Dean - Graduate Recruitment and Admissions. The Associate Director has responsibility for planning and executing the admissions pipeline process and activities (driving inquiries to application) for selected graduate business programs in the D'Amore-McKim School of Business and also supports the recruiting and admission activities for the entire D'Amore-McKim graduate programs portfolio including Full-time MBA, Part-time MBA, other Master of Science (Finance, Management, International Management) and Graduate Certificate programs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES The Associate Director has responsibility for managing admissions operations and systems including application processing, admission and yield communications, database management (Slate, BusinessCAS/WebAdmit, Salesforce and others) and reporting. The Associate Director will serve as liaison to the university's Enrollment Management team as well as vendors. Other responsibilities:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred or graduate degree in higher education administration. At least five years' experience with preference given to candidates who have experience in MBA and/or MS admissions and recruiting and previous supervisory experience. Expertise in overseeing and managing database systems. Candidates must demonstrate a professional presence and maturity along with leadership in dealing with a variety of audiences, external and internal to the university. Excellent interpersonal, oral presentation, and written communication skills are critical for success. Expertise in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and database management and other technological support resources. Ability to synthesize and interpret data to inform decision-making on recruitment, admissions, and yield strategies. Strong project management/organizational skills with attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to balance multiple demands from demanding constituencies. Creativity, positive can-do attitude, flexibility, initiative, and ability to function effectively as member of a team. Responsive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement. Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally and work evenings and weekends as required.
