![]() Clinical Pharmacist, Pediatrics (STF PHARMACIST 2) Job Summary The Staff II Clinical Pharmacist focuses on inpatient care with an emphasis in a variety of patient care areas (e.g., Infectious Diseases, Critical Care, Cardiology, Oncology, Pediatrics, Pain and Palliative Care, Nutrition Support). The Staff II Clinical Pharmacist will work primarily in the inpatient setting, cover select specialty services, and provide distribution support to hospitalized patients. The Staff II Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for directing and maintaining drug therapy across the continuum of care, providing comprehensive service-based monitoring on select services, as well as focused monitoring in the areas of support care/symptom management, antimicrobial therapy, anticoagulation, and parenteral nutrition. The Staff II Clinical Pharmacist is an integral member of the healthcare team, with responsibilities that include drug therapy monitoring, facilitation of drug distribution, dissemination of drug information, precepting of students and residents, participation in clinical research, and participation in departmental and institutional committees, taskforces, and workgroups, all while fostering excellent interdepartmental relationships and ensuring quality and cost-effective pharmaceutical care.
