Facilities Manager (fixed-term contract)

Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join our industry leading team. The new employee will be responsible for the oversight of the FM portfolio, that includes technical, soft and landlord services. Facilities Manager is also responsible for overseeing the implementation of policies, procedures and programs that will assure well-managed, well-maintained buildings and facilities. This position is a temporary contract for 3-6 months with the possibility of extension. Please submit your application in English.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Develop a strong customer focused service in line with Cushman&Wakefield's and the Client's expectations.

• Develop a strong, positive relationship with the local Client

• Cooperate with the Account Manager and Technical Manager to determine operational strategy for the site

• Responsibility for the services as defined in the Contract, that includes soft and hard services management

• Ensure that facilities are operated and maintained safely, efficiently and in first class condition

• Deliver services in line with the agreed budget.

• Responsible for monthly accruals and variance reporting

• Deliver the contracted services compliant with legal, statutory requirements and governance. Implement, document and manage best practice process and procedure across the portfolio.

• Operational management of internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring quality of services provided are continually improved and exceed customer expectations.

• Manage and develop the onsite FM team (either C&W or Client employed) to enable them to carry out their responsibilities in line with best practices.

• Identify and act upon future business opportunities.

Experience & Skills Required

• Degree in either Facilities Management, Building Services or business orientated - nice to have

• Fluent in both Italian and English.

• Experience of service delivery through self-performance and / or via contractors or 3rd party suppliers

• Knowledge of FM processes and good practice, Health & Safety legislation relevant to FM

• Vendor contract management

• Excellent communication/negotiation skills

• Experience of managing an operational budget and exposure to P&L accounts

• Ability to manage and develop a team and individuals

• Experience of developing strong client relationships

• Experience of managing a significant single or multiple sites in EMEA.
