Overview

Agency Securities Lending (ASL) is a significant growth area for Deutsche Bank, enabling our client investment funds to earn additional yield on their investments by lending their securities out in the market. ASL has also launched an innovative new product enabling our clients holding high cash balances to earn extra yield by investing their cash balances in short-term instruments. The ASL business is a global team that runs on a single legacy front-to-back trading system which is being re-engineered into a modern cloud-native microservices architecture over the next 2 years. As a Senior QA & Testing Engineer within ASL technology, you will be a key player in the re-engineering program, implementing functionally complex requirements into a well-designed technical solution. This is a professional Contributor role, and you will be responsible and accountable for designing and coding test automation frameworks for a Java and database centric application, automating functional tests, regression tests, API tests and database tests.

What You'll Do
  • Design and develop automation test frameworks
  • Partner with business analysts and stakeholders situated in multiple regions and time-zones to understand requirements and convert the requirements into a well-engineered solution
  • Co-work with Quality Assurance (QA) team on test automation of new and existing functionality
  • Follow Quality assurance processes while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to automation & testing
  • Collaborate with engineers to participate and contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions and specifications
  • When product and architecture experience is gained, mentor and direct more junior developers/testers
Skills You'll Need
  • Extensive technology experience with hands-on experience in automating tests using Selenium (JAVA) OR Cucumber (JAVA), design & development of Automation Framework(s), and developing test automation framework for implementing continuous integration
  • Knowledge and strong analytical & coding skills to automate tests for JAVA & ORACLE based applications
  • Experience developing test automation framework for implementing continuous integration
  • Ability to write medium to high complex Structured Query Language (SQL) queries
  • Experience and exposure to tools like HP Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Corporate Insurance (CI) tools-Jenkins, SVN / Bitbucket, JIRA etc

  • Exposure to other technologies like UNIX, Job Scheduling (Exp: Control-M) etc; You are expected to have high desire to learn new technologies and implement various solutions in fast paced environment
Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $95K to $140K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
