![]() Collection Specialist-University Bursar-Hybrid University of Bursar Job Summary Under the Collections Coordinator supervision, will initiate activities and procedures to maximize collection of delinquent student and non-student receivables and delinquent campus-based student loan accounts in accordance with the overall objectives, goals, policies and regulations established by the University and University Bursar. Minimum Qualifications Any one or any combination of the following, totaling one (1) year (12 months), from the categories below: college course work that included courses in finance, accounting, business administration, or business management, or a closely related field: 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months) Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months) 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months) Bachelor's degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months) collection, consumer credit, or business experience that required knowledge of collection methods and procedures One (1) year (12 months) of collection experience comparable to Collection Representative level or in other positions of comparable responsibility Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Appointment Information This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 3283 - Collection Specialist position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible.
