Zions is seeking a risk professional to join the Operational Risk Support team within Operational Risk Management (ORM). The Operational Risk Support team oversees bank-wide programs to help senior management in identifying, assessing, and monitoring key risks and related controls. Working in Operational Risk Management is a unique opportunity and establishes a great foundation for a banking career, as risk officers are exposed to the broad scope of the bank and its operations.

The Risk Officer is responsible for working with team members to support control identification within Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), validating management control testing, and performing ad hoc risk projects. The Risk Officer supports maintenance of risk information within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance tool, and provides guidance and reporting to managers. The Risk Officer helps provide the leadership, analysis skills, and critical thinking necessary to enhance Zions Bancorporation's risk/control environment, carry out the Risk Management framework, and support the Bank's customer experience, operational excellence, efficiency, and profitability. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
