We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Analyst to join our dynamic product management team. As a Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Product Owner in developing and optimizing our products. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, conducting customer and market research, and providing valuable insights to drive informed decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
This role is supporting our new in-house built Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool supported by Microsoft Dynamics with a focused on optimizing business process flows for a centralized team and, eventually onsite team members across the country. This role is a vital link between the Business Analyst and scrum teams, the Product Owner who sets the vision, and the end users of the tool.
An ideal candidate is a go-getter and self-starter who is passionate about deeply understanding customer pain points, modeling and designing business process flows to bring efficiency, and who enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment. This person should have strong communication skills as this role works with a variety of stakeholders, strong time management skills, and critical thinking/problem solving skills to make product recommendations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze product-related data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Use various analytical tools and techniques to derive insights and make data-driven recommendations for product enhancements.
• Market & User Research: Conduct market & user research to gain a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and industry trends. Stay updated on competitor analysis, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to contribute to the product strategy.
• Product Performance Tracking: Monitor product usage, customer feedback, and other relevant data to identify areas for improvement and optimize product features. Work closely with Product Owner on identifying trending and lagging metrics
• User Behavior Analysis: Analyze user behavior within our products to identify areas of improvement and potential pain points. Collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team to enhance the user journey, streamline workflows, and optimize user engagement.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with the Product Owner to gather requirements from stakeholders, customers, and internal teams. Translate business needs into detailed product requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and user expectations.
• Product Roadmap Support: Assist the Product Owner in defining and prioritizing features for the product roadmap. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis, market research, and user feedback to contribute to the product strategy and planning. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure smooth product development and launch. Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate communication and ensure alignment with product objectives.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create clear and concise documentation, including PDRs, product specifications, user stories, and reports. Present findings, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders in a structured and articulate manner.
• Sprint Scoping: Ensures clear scoping and sequencing of stories across sprints in a Program Increment based on Product Owner vision, working closely with Business Analyst and scrum team to determine feasibility of delivery
• Reviewing & Approving User Stories: Work closely with Business Analyst and scrum team to review and approve user stories based on acceptance criteria vision set by Product Owner. Be "right hand" of product owner to represent vision in daily meetings.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Participate in and lead interviews with various internal partners to understand the current state process flow and key pain points
• Develop a clear understanding of the core accountabilities and friction points within a process to inform change management, design, and/ or technical changes to Product and Pilot roadmaps
• Create current state and future state process flow maps in support of UX designs and Product enhancements as outlined by PO and CX teams, complete with recommended improvements to business processes, operational procedures, and product design
• Develops and maintains effective working relationships with key stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Experience in business process designing and facilitation and strong workflow designing via Microsoft Suite, Figma, and Mural
• Showcase strong analytical and evaluating skills
• Strong communication skills with ability to present complex messages in storytelling
• Problem solver with the ability to provide recommendations to team on solution opportunities
• Passion to find new solutions and embraces change
• Team player mentality
• Experience in property management or hospitality a plus, but not required
• Ability to work in a remote environment

Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.

Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
