Neurotechnologist I - Neurology Testing Center - Part Time

SUMMARY: This position works under the direction of a senior Neurotechnologist and is accountable for actively participating in educational opportunities to successfully complete CHCC Neurological Technologist training program (or equivalent) as well as acquire knowledge and skill to prepare the incumbent for the successful completion of Part I (written) and Part II (oral) of the EEG registration examination administered by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET). In this role, the Neuro Tech I assists registered staff with routine neurodiagnostic examinations while gaining the skills needed to function independently. This includes the preparation of the patient and the collection of information pertinent to the interpretation of the neurodiagnostic exams.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a High School Diploma or G.E.D., two year college degree in a related field preferred. Minimum one year related experience in a patient care setting. Bilingual skills are preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.

POSITION DETAILS: Part time, 40 hours per pay period. Day shift.

PAY RANGE: $27.90-$43.30
