Transaction Manager

Job Description Summary

We are looking for a individual to join us as part of a Programme Transaction Management team, working closely with a central government client, the C&W Programme team, and C&W specialist Service Line teams (Agency, Planning, and Project Development Services).
This would be a key role supporting the acquisition of land and buildings in support of two Programmes across the UK. The team is looking for a creative, innovative individual to take ownership of their part of the Programme.

Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide professional advice and service to clients acting as the first line of governance and quality control
• Working with fellow Transaction Managers, the Transaction Management Lead and Programme Lead to ensure excellent communication is maintained between Service Lines, Programme team and clients.
• Ownership of acquisitions and stakeholder relationships
• Manage day-to-day responsibilities for project delivery and reporting
• Own account governance processes and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner and to high quality standards
• Manage acquisitions, leasehold and freehold
• Maintain ongoing communication with key business stakeholders via verbal and written updates and reports to update colleagues and clients on specific matters where appropriate
• Active participation on client projects
• Liaise with internal teams to provide a full service to clients
• Ensure delivery against client, individual and team KPI targets
• Monitor business compliance
• Monitor and ensure legal compliance on real estate deals working with clients' in-house legal counsel
• Track projects against agreed processes and schedules
• Attendance at C&W and client calls and face to face meetings as required

Core Skills & Experience:

• Good understanding of customer needs
• Member of the Royal Institute or Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
• Ownership of project planning and delivery
• Commercial acumen, negotiation skills and understanding of market dynamics
• Understanding of business development and client relationship management
• Ability to network and build relationships internally and externally
• Good knowledge of the real estate industry sector and market trends
• Minimum of 4 years of Real Estate experience or similar in an account management role in the real estate services sector
• Experience in a project management role would also be considered
