We are an engineering focused Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Technology organization tasked with delivering the Deutsche Bank CLM platform that supports the full client and account lifecycle, including client due diligence Know Your Customer (KYC)/ Anti-Money Laundering (AML), client onboarding and offboarding. We are looking for a Senior Developer for the Front to Back Strategic Workflow team within the CLM Technology program. The role demands a technical specialist who can drive the implementation of a new operational workflow to increase process automations, tighten controls, and drive organizational efficiency. As the senior developer, you will be working closely with stakeholders from Client Data Services, Anti-Financial Crime, and the Front Office, who present diverse requirements and challenges to the single unified workflow.

What You'll Do
  • Participate in the full agile application development lifecycle for development of Java applications, Microservices, and reusable components to support overall project objectives
  • Leverage design patterns, Test Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) to build software that is reliable and easy to support in production
  • Participate in Design Authority, Technical Councils, and peer reviews of code to provide technical guidance towards building scalable solutions and avoiding technical debt in solutions
  • Lead feature team of engineers to deliver user stories, while also working closely with product owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
  • Must be adaptable to different responsibilities and possess strong communications skills in order to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
How You'll Lead
  • You will lead a feature of high-performance Java full stack and test automation engineers to deliver features following an Agile software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • You will work closely with business stakeholders to convert high-level requirements to user stories having well defined acceptance criteria and ensure that the features your team develops are protected via feature-flags and delivered to production via a continuous integration/continuous deployment or development (CI/CD) pipeline at the end of each sprint
  • You will be a mentor and role-model for other engineers in the team and be proactive in providing performance feedback to your team members
Skills You'll Need
  • Hands on moderate experience with Java programming, Spring frameworks and Spring boot, RESTful Web Services, and Microservices
  • Relevant experience in Web Services (REST), Angular 6+, JavaScript, NodeJS
  • Demonstrable experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), with hands-on experience with least one testing framework: Junit, Cucumber, Selenium
  • Experience of Agile Development methodologies with relevant working experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI system, distributed version control tools (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket), and messaging services, such as Kafka/MQ
