Job Description: The Assistant Director-Scholarships facilitates application of scholarship awards, tracking of scholarships, problem solving with students and parents on scholarship issues as well as general financial aid. This position is responsible for the coordination of all paperwork generated for the purpose of applying scholarship awards to student accounts and the coordination with the bursar's office to establish accounts and create funds, as needed, in the Banner Financial Aid system. The person in this position will serve as the liaison for Students, Foundation Office, Admissions, Financial Aid, and departments across campus with regard to questions and concerns about scholarships and status of awards. Recommends and participates in the development of university policies and procedures related to scholarship awarding and serves as a member of the scholarship committee.
