Full-Time/Part Time: Full-Time Overview: The Holmes Student Center provides the campus community with a gathering place that enhances student life, cultivates unity and promotes development through a variety of cultural, educational, social and recreational programs. The Accounting Officer is part of the Business Operations team at the Holmes Student Center. The Accounting Officer duties include review and preparation of cash and credit card reconciliations for retail dining locations as well as events happening in the building. Position Summary: Under the direction and supervision of the Accounting Officer, works as part of a team in the Holmes Student Center Business Office in the review and preparation of daily cash and charge reconciliations. Assists with supervision of work-related duties to student staff. Maintains a positive attitude while interacting with all HSC personnel, NIU auditors and various other NIU Departments. OR B.) 30 semester hours of course work in any discipline AND one (1) year of work experience in bookkeeping, office support, or closely related experience. OR C.) Associates Degree in any discipline AND six (6) months of work experience in bookkeeping, office support, or closely related experience. OR D.) 90 Semester hours of course work in any discipline.
