Grossmont College seeks a dedicated professional to fill the role of Vice President of Administrative Services. Reporting to the president, the person serving in this position will act as the college Chief Business Officer and will oversee the college facilities, maintenance, and operational departments and services (e.g., bookstore, food services, cashiering, duplicating, mailroom, and business services). As part of the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District, the VPAS will coordinate with district services to support fiscal stability and integrity of services to students and employees in the district and the oversight of an active bond-funded construction and renovation program. JOB PURPOSE: Serves as chief business official of the college for all campus business services, including budget development and control, and the preparation and maintenance of required records and reports; perform other duties as assigned. In concert with department managers and/or supervisors, coordinate the college fiscal/administrative operations and facilities. Serve as campus liaison to District business operations and fiscal services division. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: SPECIAL SKILLS OR REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting or related field from an accredited institution and increasingly responsible budget, administrative analysis or management experience, including experience in a lead administrative management capacity. Evidence of sensitivity to, and understanding of, the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students; promotion of diversity among faculty and staff.
