Professional Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: The Opportunity: The School of Design and Construction (SDC) in the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture (VCEA) is seeking to hire Academic Coordinator/Advisor 1, serving as the First Year and Pre-Admission to the Major Recruitment and Retention Specialist. Summary of Duties: The First Year and Pre-Admission to the Major Recruitment and Retention Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating an all-inclusive program that provides support for pre-admission to the major students in architectural studies, construction management, interior design, and landscape architecture. In collaboration with program specific academic advisors and program heads, this position will instruct, guide, and counsel students based on their career choice, course choice, and academic major to develop an application process plan for the professional programs.
