The Golf Course Superintendent will work closely with the Head Golf Course Superintendent and will be responsible for 36 holes on the Island and South course here at Innisbrook. The superintendent will be responsible for the maintenance, operation and management of the golf course. The superintendent will be accountable to protect the clubs assets while ensuring the maximum guest and member satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Supervise and assist maintenance staff in daily duties,
Assists in planning, organizing and direction of the maintenance of putting greens,tees,fairways,roughs and bunkers,
Assists in the procurement of supplies and materials and ensure costs stay within budget limitations,
Assures that effective orientation and training are given to all new employees and an ongoing training program for all employees,
Irrigation system management, troubleshooting, planning/Scheduling repair to system
Work with the golf professionals and pro shop to ensure scheduling of staff for daily events and shotguns,
Work with the Head Superintendent and Superintendent to help prepare for the Valspar Championship in March each year,
Previous Superintendent experience,
Strong irrigation background
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekend.
