What will you be doing: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Trauma Emergency General Surgery Service (also known as Trauma Acute Care Surgery) is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process, supervision of clinical practice, research involvement, consultative services, inter and intradepartmental liaison, education, leadership, and patient care management across the health care continuum from preventative, acute care through discharge. A Nurse Practitioner’s practice incorporates both independent decision-making abilities and collaboration with the board certified/eligible physician to provide expert care to the patients.
Experience Requirements: One (1)+ years' experience as Nurse Practitioner, preferably in caring for trauma and acute care surgery patients preferred. Three (3)+ years of nursing experience, preferred. Educational/Licensure/Certifications Requirements: Master of Nursing Degree Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered Current State of California Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner License National Certification or eligibility for certification as a Nurse Practitioner Current DEA license and Furnishing Number or eligibility to obtain Current ACLS certification required Jobs-IndeedLI-Onsite
