Job Description:

This position will be full-time, fixed-term teaching position in the social work program. The faculty would teach any/all of the components of the generalist social work curriculum. This position primarily serves the online students in the social work program both in teaching and advising duties. About 75% of students in the social work program are online students, so this position would primarily need to teach fully online asynchronous courses in the program's curriculum.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school.
  • Two years of post MSW practice and an understanding of online education.
  • Applicants would need to have social work license or be eligible to obtain one when they begin teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in a human service-related field or a Doctorate of Social Work.
  • Previous teaching experience at a college level.
  • Experience with online course delivery and online delivery technologies.
  • Demonstrated commitment or proven strategies for fostering a diverse and inclusive environment;
  • Demonstrated ability or proven strategies to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds.
