Assistant Athletics Director for Business Operations

• Analyze sport and administrative operating budgets monthly to monitor budgeted to actual results. Assists with preparing journal entries, departmental transfers, and other financial transactions on behalf of the Athletics Department.
• Coordinate the review and execution of vendor contracts with the University purchasing office. Review and approve athletic department purchasing card activity.
• Oversee the athletic department student employee budget and update student employee supervisors of monthly student payroll budget activity.
• Under the direction of the Associate AD for Business Operations, will establish, educate, and maintain internal policies and guidelines, interprets, communicates, and ensures policies are followed. Serves as an administrative liaison with campus administrative offices such as accounting, budgeting, and purchasing.
• Serve as a secondary sport supervisor for one or multiple sports as assigned.
• Contributes to the overall success of the University's athletics program by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Remains competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses as directed by the supervisor. -
