Requirements Executive Director, Georgetown Center on Poverty and Inequality - Georgetown University Law Center The Georgetown Center on Poverty and Inequality (GCPI) works to alleviate poverty and inequality, advance racial and gender equity, and expand economic inclusion for everyone in the U.S. through rigorous research, analysis, and ambitious policy ideas. Job Overview The Georgetown Center on Poverty and Inequality seeks an Executive Director to lead the Center into its next chapter. The Executive Director should be a policy expert with a longstanding commitment to racial justice, and a vision for advancing racial and gender equity and expanding economic inclusion for everyone in the U.S. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the research and policy work of the Center, ensuring the Center's long term financial and institutional health, and establishing Georgetown Law as a place for developing and advancing transformative policies that address the root causes of poverty and combat structural racism. Responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
Work Interactions Reporting to Peter Edelman, Faculty Director, the Executive Director communicates about the Center's work to the faculty advisors; supervises a Deputy Director and Program Directors; and oversees some substantive work of other senior staff. Requirements and Qualifications
