Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is recruiting for a leadership position to support the growing oncology pharmacy service line. Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is an academic medical center and an NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist continues to earn recognition as one of the top institutions of its kind in the country. In 2018 U.S. News & World Report ranked it highest in North Carolina for cancer care and 19th in the nation. WFBH is innovative and continues to expand clinical trials with the recent opening of a dedicated Phase I oncology unit and a new CAR-T program. Wake Forest Baptist recently joined with Atrium Health based in Charlotte, NC to create one enterprise, accounting for 42 hospitals and creating the next generation academic health system. The cancer center serves all of North Carolina and some areas of Virginia and Tennessee, the new enterprise reaches more than 7 million people which will now include Georgia and South Carolina. The operations manager for satellite clinics will support the Oncology Service Line and all hematology/oncology clinical services and will be responsible for all operations at the seven satellite clinics. Productivity In addition to the core responsibilities, this individual will be responsible for execution of strategic initiatives as assigned by the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy, Program Director II. Examples may include regulatory requirements, operational efficiency and standardization, utilization support, and other core business planning. It will be imperative that this individual is a self-starter who can independently assess a given situation and apply the principles of situational leadership when appropriate. Change management skills, creative thinking, and high emotional intelligence will be vital to this individual’s success.

NC registered pharmacist with hospital experience required. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Degree. Advanced business degree and completion of a Residency program are preferred. Experience is preferred. |
