Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Health Program Manager I, the Heath Program Specialist I will be responsible for performing consultative and analytical duties for the Black Infant Health (BIH) program, funded through Title V, and in coordination with MCAH and other Title V health promotion activities.  This position will conduct training and technical assistance for local BIH staff in the implementation of the Black Infant Health model, a group based intervention supplemented by case management for pregnant and parenting African American women eligible for the BIH program. This position requires the incumbent to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.  The incumbent must be able to travel to meetings and trainings.
