The Account Executive, Oncology (field-based) will be responsible for expanding the Cardinal Specialty footprint within existing community-based Oncology customers by pursuing new product lines, technology services and the retention of existing business within a defined geography. The community-based oncology markets are a complex, ever-evolving market the changes along with the state of value-based care. The Account Executive will ensure a strong market presence for Cardinal Specialty within drug distribution and technology solutions that support community oncology practices. This role will partner closely with Sales Directors and Key Account Managers, & Inside Sales to ensure a strong Cardinal network and a seamless focus on the customer. Under direction of the National Director of Sales, this role promotes the use of and consultatively sells to appropriately increasing volume growth, market share and profitability in target accounts. In addition to creating appropriate product demand, this sales leader will own long-term, executive level relationships with physicians, physician practices leaders, hospital and health system administrators and nursing professionals and group purchasing organizations.
