The Ultrasound Supervisor functions as a highly experienced sonographer, working under the delegated authority of the physician director, and is responsible for the overall daily management of the sonography department at Michigan Medicine's Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment Center (FDTC). The Ultrasound Supervisor's role and responsibilities extend beyond those of a staff sonographer and are focused on providing leadership to ensure the delivery of safe and efficient patient care.
