This newly created position is the foundation of all data collection and program evaluation for central Human Resources (HR), overseeing the collection of highly confidential data for validation, analysis, visualization, and interpretation of activity. We are seeking a Sr. Data Analyst who will be responsible for the design, implementation, integration and accessibility of information that enables effective and reliable data analytics. This role will lead the development and delivery of reports and other analytical solutions that support the central HR strategy, team, and university leadership.
The Sr. Data Analyst provides high level data analysis to inform strategic planning and analyze the effectiveness of initiatives through data-driven research. The position reviews and understand large sets of historical data while being able to highlight relevant trends and patterns to inform critical decision-making. Must be able to perform advanced data extraction and leverage data analytics expertise to identify/understand organizational needs and contribute to the formation and execution of strategy. This role interacts with a breadth of clients on a university-wide basis, including senior leadership, lending guidance on data collection processes (which spans a variety of collection systems and methods), and offers training and demonstrations of BI tools to end users. The position generates standing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that provide a wide variety of feedback on programs, status, volume, trends, and projections. Specific Duties & Responsibilities
