Job Title Full Stack Engineer

Corporate Title Assistant Vice President

Overview

An experienced Full Stack Engineer is needed for the Regulatory GT Level One Control and Surveillance platform team that supports Deutsche Bank's front-office supervisors, business control units, and business control managers various Non-Financial Risk (NFR) requirements. You will be responsible for design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support for one or more systems. You will work with cross-functional teams using multiple technology stack to build the solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Participate in business requirements and contribute materially to the development of functional design
  • Development of source code for front to back software components (e.g., Angular, React, Java, python, Oracle, Messaging)
  • Designs and implements automated testing scripts using Junit, Gherkins, Zero code, Karate
  • Integrates software components following the integration strategy. Verifies integrated software components by unit and integrated software testing
  • Will have a level of accountability
  • Supports release deployments into controlled environments, while creating, building, and deploying scripts using GKE and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Skills You'll Need
  • Moderate hands-on experience
  • Extensive experience building user interface using Angular or React
  • Relevant Java experience using Java 8, 11 or 17
  • Relevant Test-Driven development or Design (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development or Design (BDD) experience
  • Relevant experience working in Agile/Scrum process, writing continuous integration/continuous deployment or development (CI/CD) pipeline, and building database objects using Structured Query Language (SQL) and Operational Risk Management (ORM) tools
Skills That Will Help You Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of GCP
  • Hands-on experience on big data technology
Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $85,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
