Key Responsibilities 

• Manage an existing portfolio of client accounts. 
• Develop legal strategies for IV, NIV, PERM, or Consular matters. 
• Supervise and lead a team of paralegals and case managers. 
• Review and sign filings prepared by staff members. 
• Provide guidance on case assessment and respond to requests for evidence, audits, or other government inquiries. 
• Draft responses and motions to government agencies when necessary. 
• Report directly to the managing attorney, keeping them informed of client opportunities, issues, and account development plans. 

Qualifications 

• Licensed to practice law in the United States, with a preference for California. 
• A minimum of ten years of experience in the business immigration field in a high-volume environment. 
• A track record of managing a client roster with revenue and retention targets for 5+ years. 
• Experience in managing 3-5 direct reports, such as junior attorneys, paralegals, or case managers. 
• Proficiency in the entire lifecycle of either IV, NIV, PERM, or consular matters. 
• Substantive expertise in understanding the rules for IV, NIV, PERM, and/or consular issues. 
• Proven ability to manage complex issues and communicate them effectively to clients. 
• Capable of hitting the ground running.

• Excellent verbal and written English language skills. 
• Reliability, teamwork, and professionalism when interacting with clients and co-workers. 
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely to external stakeholders. 
• Familiarity with Office 365, G-Suite, or other cloud-based document environments. 
• Document preparation and management skills using Adobe Acrobat Pro. 
• Proficiency with PC laptops and the MS Windows environment.
