![]() Business Operations Analyst University of California Riverside Job Number: 31638982 Full/Part Time: Full Time Schedule: 8AM - 5PM Salary: $45,700 - $68,350 Position Information The SOM Financial and Business Services Unit provides centralized business services to the School of Medicine which includes the Education, Research, and Clinical enterprise. The Business Operations Analyst provides a variety of entry-level duties to the School of Medicine and assists in resolving financial-related transactions in accounts payable, purchasing, recharge billing, travel/entertainment, and procurement. The incumbent is an important member of the Business Operations team where teamwork is an essential part of workplace success. Additionally, the Business Operations Analyst will demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to business service matters. The salary range for the Business Operations Analyst is $45,700 - $68,350 annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $62,320 annually. We base placement within these ranges on the individual's qualifications as they relate to this position. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Education Education Requirements Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required Experience Experience Requirement 0 - 1 years of related experience. Required Minimum Requirements Special Condition Requirement Must pass a background check. Required Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software. Interpersonal skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, effective verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills. Basic knowledge of financial data management and reporting systems. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to function effectively as a member of a team. Basic knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources. Basic knowledge of financial or accounting concepts, processes and procedures.
