![]() Fiscal Specialist 2 Available Title(s): 151F-YN_CS_NPS - Fiscal Specialist 2 Business Title: Fiscal Specialist 2 Employee Type: Classified Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: The Fiscal Specialist 2 position within the Carson College of Business (CCB) will work closely with the Director of Administrative Services for fiscal/administrative problem solving and budget planning and analysis. This position will serve as a college-wide procurement and travel expert and holds college-wide cost center manager approvals. Duties include, but are not limited to: creating, reviewing and reconciling budget reports; maintaining financial databases and worksheets, monitoring and maintaining college-wide personnel and payroll records and data; assisting and/or taking the lead with grants and contracts administration in preparing, and reviewing sponsored projects budgets and review quarterly F&A reports. This position also reviews and reconciles enrollment; calculates tuition splits and cost share for contracts, and represents the CCB Fiscal team at specified department and college meetings. This position establishes and maintains comprehensive fiscal record keeping systems, as well as analyzes, establishes, and maintains self-sustaining accounts. The Fiscal Specialist 2 position operates in a dynamic environment with varying financial responsibilities in support of activities such as teaching, fundraising, advising, academic outreach, and research. This position also identifies, develops, and recommends internal controls and areas for process improvement for HR, Payroll, and Finance areas across the CCB. Required Qualifications:
