Southwest Division Medical Director - Cardiovascular Service Line Physician Enterprise is actively seeking a highly experienced leader to serve as the Southwest Division Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Service Line. We are searching for a well-rounded and collaborative physician leader with 10+ years of proven clinical excellence in patient care. The candidate will be comfortable in initiating and managing relationships with providers and hospital leadership, along with developing and maintaining positive relationships with community leaders in the communities we serve. This individual will have prior experience in managing growth and the development of a successful cardiovascular service line. The SW Division Medical Director will be primarily accountable for the overall success of the Cardiovascular service line division-wide, in collaboration with their Strategy dyad partner. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with division, hospital and medical group administration to strategically plan the future growth and development of the healthcare service lines within the SW Division. Additionally, this individual will serve as the liaison for quality and cost effective initiatives across the SW Division, in collaboration with the national cardiovascular service line and its divisional constituents. There will be an additional reporting relationship into the division. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position currently reports to the System Senior VP, Physician Enterprise of Dignity Health Medical Group Southwest Division for medical group activities. As a member of the medical staff, the physician will also collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer of the SW Division Hospitals for all activities related to medical staff services.
