DESCRIPTIONThis position involves the administrative services and operations for our innovative Concierge Medicine Program located in La Jolla, which provides the most personalized and coordinated medical care using leading-edge medicine and state-of-the-art technology. Performs clinic revenue reconciliation. Compiles and reports reimbursement data. Assists with incident reporting. Maintains patient accounts, interacts with collection agencies, and negotiates patient payment plans. Serves as liaison with billing office. Conducts chart reviews and reports discrepancies. Updates diagnosis and procedure codes to support clinical documentation and maximize reimbursement. Monitors daily clinical reporting, communicates results to provide accurate and timely patient care coordination. Updates medical coding resource material and clinic procedures documentation. Serves as a department resource for finance and compliance questions/issues. Serves as a liaison between academic and clinical groups. Oversees equipment inventory and coordinates supply purchasing. Proficient user of clinic IT technology systems. Trains administrative staff on IT systems and applications. Coordinates conferences, compiles attendee conference notes and clinical recommendations and disseminates information. Conducts registration, insurance, and authorization verification, updating patient demographics, disposition appointments, co-pay collection, expediting reports, working closely with physicians, nurses, staff and other UCSD departments and staff. Assisting Physicians and all team members with managing patient-related affairs and acts as a patient liaison by fielding questions, scheduling appointments, etc. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $53,600 - $111,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $25.67 - $53.45 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
