![]() Sr. Budget Analyst (FINANCIAL ANL 4) Department Description The mission of Information and Educational Technology (IET) is to create and support an information technology environment that enhances the ability of the UC Davis community to teach, do research and provide public service. This position is located within the IET Operations department, which provides administrative services to IET as well as coordination to the campus community with respect to information and educational technology policy and planning. To see IET job postings, please visit https://iet.ucdavis.edu/jobs NO VISA SPONSORSHIP IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION Job Summary Under general guidance of the Finance Supervisor, the Sr. Budget Analyst performs budgetary and financial functions for one or more IET departments and/or projects to assist in their effective management. This position has responsibility for ensuring that appropriate accounting and internal controls are maintained, preparing and establishing budgets, organizing resources according to budgetary plans, preparing both routine and ad hoc financial reports using data from the general ledger and departmental or project budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses, assisting in the development of rates for recharge services, and coordinating the development and management of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs). This role assists in the development and/or analysis of rates for recharge services and other revenue/funding sources and will represent the IET Finance department in meetings and discussions as needed.
