![]() ADMIN OFCR 3 (Administrative Coordinator) Job Summary Department Purpose The California National Primate Research Center, CNPRC, at UC Davis, is an Organized Research Unit that conducts interdisciplinary research programs on significant human health problems where non-human primates is the animal of choice. In addition to its major efforts in the area of research, the CNPRC is also committed to both UC Davis and NIH missions of teaching and service. The PI is a faculty member in the School of Medicine with associated responsibilities for centers, service operations, and training programs including campus schools and colleges. Job Summary Under limited supervision, independently perform the full range of program administrative responsibilities for the Regenerative Medicine, Gene Therapy, and Translational Science Programs including the Translational Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Shared Research Facility and Regenerative Medicine/Gene Therapy Training Programs. Apply programmatic management that include financial monitoring of accounts; outreach and communications efforts; grant and contract post award management that includes financial/budget planning, forecasting, and analyses; and the coordination and progress monitoring of training programs, outreach events, and training sessions. In partnership with the PI, the program's scientific collaborators and research and management team, perform short and long-term strategic planning to accomplish program goals and objectives with limited guidance, and provide oversight and direction on a daily basis for a range of students (undergraduate to clinical fellows) to ensure all training program requirements are met. Plan, organize and manage outreach program activities (includes direct marketing efforts) to recruit and supervise trainees in training programs, to programmatic projects and meetings, and academic professional training sessions. Plan, coordinate, and seek participants and external project stakeholders for community engagement events. Prepare reports, presentations, and financial reports. Oversee expenditures, project/program budgets, and provide oversight for equipment purchases, maintenance and service contracts, and self-sustainability of services and campus approved recharge rates on an annual basis. Monitor and update websites as needed and utilize communications strategies in support of overall goals and objectives integrating with other campus and national activities. Provide guidance and support to students/fellows to ensure all requirements are met and funding provided is addressed in a timely manner.
